Stacking The Deck is a personal goal-tracking blog. The idea is simple: pick a few ambitious goals, pursue them deliberately, and write honestly about what's happening along the way — the progress, the setbacks, the things that surprised me.
The name is inspired by Covey's Circles of Control — the idea of turning what feels random (life outcomes) into something deliberate by focusing only on what you can actually control. Stacking the deck in your favour, one decision at a time.
Right now I'm tracking 0 active goals:
Each post is tied to one or more goals. When I publish a post, I record a progress snapshot — where the goal stood when I wrote it. This makes the blog a timeline: you can follow any goal from day one and watch it move.
Posts are written from raw notes, often the same day as the event I'm writing about. The goal is honesty over polish.
This is a personal journal. If you want to get in touch, you can reach me at — [contact details to be added].
